A BBQ party marked the end of this year’s fishing season at Marina Casa de Campo. Most of the crews of the boats that fished this productive season assisted this party.

Amongst the guest who attended the BBQ party where, captains, crew members, local mates, and proprietors of the boats Betsy, Therapy, Due Course, and Chach, who enjoyed a delicious BBQ and cocktails courtesy of Cervecería Nacional Dominicana and its product, the very popular beers Presidente and Presidente Light.

A total of 7 boats participated during this fishing season, reporting to date, 271 Blue Marlin releases in just 68 days of fishing.

We are planning more activities and parties for the fishermen fishing next year’s season.

We would like to thank Cervecería Nacional Dominicana for giving us their support during this activity and all other future ones. We would also like to thank Capt. Jose Rodriguez “Kiko” and his wife, Merlin Barrios, who have given their undying support to this year’s season. Last but not least we would like to thank the members of Capitanía de Puerto, who have been helping us by delivering the reports and assisting the fishing boats throughout the season.
