WE RECEIVE THE 2020 FISHING SEASON WITH GREAT OPTIMISM.

On Thursday February 27th, Marina CASA DE CAMPO organized the usual kick-off party to welcome the new fishing season. The fishing season officially started on February 1st. The kick-off party is the first activity the Marina has for the enjoyment of the fishing season. The objective of this activity is to formally welcome all the owners, captains and crew of the American sport fishing boats that visit the Dominican Republic to enjoy sport fishing and the other many attractions that the CASA DE CAMPO complex offers. During the activity, Mr. Jose Gonzalvo, general director of the Marina, shared with the attendees the calendar of events and the novelties the Marina has prepared for this season. One of such novelties we have this season is the inclusion of prizes for the biggest Dorado, Wahoo and Tuna during the Marina CASA DE CAMPO Open fishing tournament. Another novelty that was shared that evening was the new event “The Fish Market”, this event consists of recreating a fresh fish market during the 26th and 27th of March in the area of the Harbor Masters office. The goal of the event is to create an experience in which you combine family, food, sustainable sport fishing, music and joy, and all of this in an elegant and natural stage as Marina CASA DE CAMPO. The funds raised during the sale of the fish donated by the sport fish boats will be donated to the Hogar Del Niño.
